Role overview
Join the Periodicity team to enrich transaction data by detecting recurring periodic patterns. You will improve model performance, automate processes, and optimize algorithms to deliver better financial insights. The role requires statistical know‑how, an analytical mindset and business expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Model development: Shape the future of the model through design, high-quality code and alignment with IT, Architecture and Business.
- Performance: Improve model performance and predictive quality.
- MLOps: Lead through every phase of the MLOps live cycle.
- Collaboration: Deliver production code in an end-to-end team of Data Scientists and ML engineers, working with a business analyst, scrum master and product manager.
Practical examples of work
- Expand the set of time-related features of the periodicity detection model.
- Deliver production-ready code within the end-to-end team.
- Propose and discuss innovative ideas using a broad overview of the analytics landscape.
Team & scope
Collaboration: Work with 20+ Data Scientists within the area.
Candidate profile
- Education: MSc or PhD in Data Science, Econometrics, Mathematics or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in advanced analytics, modelling or AI (ideally with large data sets).
- Technical skills: Python, PySpark and Git (Azure Databricks is a plus).
- Domain skills: Time series and prediction experience is a plus.
- Personal traits: Structured, precise, communicative, able to work with diverse roles, proactive, business-focused and solutions-oriented.
- Languages: Excellent verbal and written English.

- Midlance constructions are not allowed according to Rabobank policy
- Candidate should be submitted exclusively to Magnit – Rabobank during the exclusivity period of 4 business days on one request
