Role overview
We are looking for an AFAS specialist to join the HR application maintenance team. You will maintain the AFAS setup and integrations to ensure a great co-worker experience while safeguarding compliance.
Practical details
- Hours: 24–32 per week

Key responsibilities
- Provide support to co-workers and HR colleagues with technical questions and perform issue resolution.
- Provide input to key projects from an AFAS perspective (e.g. implementation of an international HR system).
- Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Troubleshoot, maintain systems, and support users; perform system upgrades, testing, and related documentation.
Candidate profile / Requirements
- 5+ years of experience configuring AFAS and integrations with other systems.
- Extensive experience with pay components in AFAS.
- Experience with troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user support.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data management principles.
- Experience with system upgrades, testing, and documentation.
- Experience with Workday is a plus.
- Self-aware, holistic thinker, and conscious of impact on society, environment, and economy.
Team and collaboration
You will cooperate closely with colleagues in the HR application maintenance team and other HR Service Delivery teams (HR Officers, HR Data and Payroll), as well as with IT and HR specialist teams.
