Role
As a Technical System Specialist you are responsible for multiple critical assets of the DAF Mainframe infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve Mainframe incidents
- Provide support to departments for Mainframe-related inquiries and requests
- Manage interfaces related to file transfers and printing
- Develop solutions to enhance administration and automation systems, ensuring alignment with Mainframe applications and processes
- Maintain and manage Mainframe databases
- Contribute to innovation and modernization initiatives to improve accessibility, stability, and future readiness of the Mainframe
- Participate in standby/on-call shifts
Candidate profile
- Not new to the mainframe world; prior Mainframe experience is expected
- Willingness to collaborate closely with a wide range of departments
Tools & languages
Having knowledge of all tools and languages is not mandatory; it is a plus.
