Position
Title: Junior / Medior Accounting Specialist
Role overview
You will work full-time (40 hours/week) in a temporary role with possible extension. The main focus is accounting within Asset Servicing: timely processing of transactions, cash reconciliation and supporting deal teams. Both Junior (minimum one year accounting experience) and Medior candidates are welcome.
Principal responsibilities
- Process asset lifecycle event bookings
- Perform cash reconciliation
- Prepare and issue invoices to borrowers
- Review internal reports and take appropriate action
Additional responsibilities (possible)
- Identify and resolve position and cash discrepancies
- Maintain organized digital and physical transaction records
- Respond to internal and external inquiries
- Collaborate with global operations and engineering teams to streamline processes, mitigate risk/control issues and generate efficiencies
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of experience in financial services
- Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Team-oriented and willing to share knowledge
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to take ownership, manage multiple tasks and prioritise
- High attention to detail and strong standards for accuracy and responsiveness
- Some understanding of Asset Management is required
Preferred qualifications
- High-level understanding of Asset Servicing
- High-level understanding of loans; prior loan servicing experience preferred
- Previous operations or fund management operations experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel); AI or Business Intelligence experience is a plus

- Location: On-site presence required (minimum four days per week at The Hague office)

- Both Junior (at least a year of accounting job experience) and Medior candidates are welcome
- It is a pre if you have a high level understanding of Loans, with preferred experience in a prior Loan Servicing role
- Previous Operations experience is a preference
- Fund Management Operations experience is preferred
- Microsoft Office application proficiency (advanced Excel, AI or Business Intelligence experience is skills a plus) is preferred
