PowSyBl Developer | Power System Software Engineer
Role
As a Power System Software Engineer you will extend and adapt the PowSyBl framework to enhance grid data exchange capabilities, ensuring alignment with operational grid models and European data exchange standards. You will collaborate remotely with internal Operations colleagues and the PowSyBl open-source community and contribute enhancements directly to the public PowSyBl repository.
Responsibilities
- Extend and adapt PowSyBl’s UCTE export capabilities
- Ensure alignment with operational grid models and European data exchange requirements
- Design, develop, test and deliver enhancements to the public PowSyBl repository
- Collaborate with internal Operations teams and the PowSyBl open-source community
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable and well-documented code
- Support validation and integration of delivered functionalities
Requirements
- Must have: Strong experience with the PowSyBl codebase
- Must have: Proven expertise in UCTE data models and export formats
- Solid Java development skills
- Ability to quickly onboard and contribute in an existing codebase
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Experience working in distributed teams and open-source environments is a plus
- Fluent in English (must); Dutch and/or French is a plus
Working Conditions
- Collaborate remotely with a fully remote team
- Work directly with the PowSyBl open-source community and public repository
- Candidates are expected to bring their own device

Eisen
- Strong experience with the PowSyBl codebase (Must have)
- Proven expertise in UCTE data models and export formats (Must have)
- Fluent in English (must)
- Suppliers must be fully aware of and compliant with applicable labor laws, employment conditions, and the TenneT Collective Labor Agreement (CAO)
- Pre-employment screening is mandatory
- The candidate must possess a valid identification document (passport or ID card), which must be valid at both the intake and contract start date and available for verification
- The candidate must be available for the full duration of the requested assignment period
Wensen
- Experience working in distributed teams and open-source environments is a plus
- Speaking Dutch and /or French is a big plus
