Role: IT Service Desk Officer
Location: Service Desk in Eindhoven (you must live within one hour travel time)
Role overview
You will provide front-line IT support to the global DLL community from the Eindhoven Service Desk, aiming for a high percentage of first-call resolutions. You will perform root cause and metrics analysis, manage incident communications, and engage other IT teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries via the IT Service Desk
- Provide local IT support
- Resolve and coordinate incidents and service requests
- Analyze service desk metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Perform root cause and metrics analysis on incoming customer issues
- Communicate incidents, problems, and outages promptly and clearly to IT customers
- Coordinate with internal IT service teams to ensure efficient issue resolution
- Proactively identify and recommend measures to prevent recurring issues and improve system stability
Required qualifications & skills
- Completed vocational (MBO) or bachelor’s education in IT or a comparable field
- Strong customer focus with a service-oriented mindset
- Basic understanding of IT processes (ITIL), Lean, and related technologies
- Microsoft Windows 11 and M365 support skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English (fluent)

Other requirements
- During the onboarding period you will work full-time in the office
- You must be able to present valid proof of identity (passport or identity card) at intake and on the start date
- Pre-employment screening will take place; you may start only after passing this screening

- Must speak Dutch & English fluently
- Candidate MUST be introduced exclusively, can't have any other processes running during proposal
- Candidate MUST live within an hour of the DLL office
- Completed vocational (MBO) or bachelor’s education in IT or a comparable field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
- Microsoft Windows 11 and M365 support skills
- Candidates must live within a maximum of 1 hour travel time from Eindhoven
- During the onboarding period, the candidate works full-time in the office
- Pre-employment screening: If the candidate is allowed to start with the client, a pre-employment screening will take place
- The candidate has proof of identity (a passport or identity card), which is valid at intake and on the start date of the candidate's contract and can be presented for verification
