Title: AI Technician (Secondment – deta-vast)

Role overview
You will be responsible for the assembly, integration, testing and verification of aerospace products and test configurations. You will work according to technical documentation, procedures and project requirements, ensuring high quality standards. You will report to the Team Leader Assembly & Integration and collaborate with Senior AI Technicians and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform assembly and integration activities for aerospace products and test configurations.
- Carry out technical work independently on flight and non-flight hardware.
- Execute verification and acceptance tests to ensure products meet technical and quality requirements.
- Support development and testing of alternative technical solutions and implement approved modifications.
- Prepare and maintain integration documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Contribute to the development of Handling Integration Procedures (HIPs).
- Identify, design, develop and manufacture integration support tooling and equipment.
- Prepare products for shipment and support logistics activities when required.
- Provide on-site product support to customers when necessary.
- Create documentation for verification and acceptance testing activities and prepare problem reports.
- Advise on modification methodologies and identify opportunities for process improvements and technical innovations.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality and production teams to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements
- MBO Level 4 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics or related technical discipline.
- Experience in assembly, integration, testing or production within a high-tech or aerospace environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures and documentation.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with verification and testing activities is an advantage.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Availability: 40 hours per week.
