Role overview
We are seeking a Data Engineering Specialist to implement IT Service Management (ITSM) Data Objects and Configuration Management System (CMS) business rules using the Global Data Platform based on Microsoft Azure. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure scalable, reliable, and secure ITSM data management.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate and manage data from various sources using the Global Data Platform.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure services to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of ITSM data.
- Create and manage Power BI dataflows and workspaces.
- Implement and maintain business rules within Configuration Management Systems using the Global Data Platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and stakeholders to understand and implement requirements.
- Monitor system performance and data integrity; optimize processes for efficiency.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and configurations.
Required skills and qualifications
Technical skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure DevOps).
- Strong Databricks experience and knowledge of Apache Airflow.
- Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and Configuration Management Systems.
- Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
Soft skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
