Role Summary
You will support and guide the development, integration and implementation of cybersecurity within the Operational Technology (OT) environment of the PALLAS Reactor. You will operate at the intersection of OT, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture and nuclear safety, ensuring cybersecurity is integrated into the architecture and technical implementation from design through commissioning. You will collaborate with OT engineering, IT, cybersecurity, system architecture, suppliers and project and commissioning teams.

You will address cybersecurity where availability, integrity, safety and security are all critically important. The role requires strategic and architectural thinking combined with technical depth to assess and guide cybersecurity challenges within complex OT and nuclear environments.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Integrating cybersecurity into the digital enterprise strategy of the PALLAS Reactor for production environments.
- Integrating PALLAS Reactor OT systems with the PALLAS cybersecurity reference architecture and associated Cyber Security Support systems.
- Guiding the full lifecycle of cybersecurity solutions, including acquisition, onboarding, installation, integration, testing, acceptance and commissioning.
- Ensuring the secure integration of OT systems within the PALLAS Reactor and their connection to IT business systems.
- Assessing and guiding cybersecurity aspects throughout onboarding, installation, integration, testing, acceptance and commissioning of these connections.
- Applying cybersecurity principles within critical security and safety systems.
- Ensuring alignment between the cybersecurity architecture, OT architecture and the broader enterprise architecture.
- Supporting design decisions and translating cybersecurity requirements into concrete architectural and integration solutions.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- At least 8 years of demonstrable experience implementing cybersecurity within critical infrastructure.
- At least 5 years of experience as an architect within the nuclear sector; experience in the nuclear sector is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience applying IEC 62443 in OT/industrial environments.
- TOGAF certification, or at least 8 years of demonstrable equivalent experience in enterprise/system architecture.
- ArchiMate certification, or at least 8 years of demonstrable equivalent experience in architectural modelling.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Other Requirements
- Travel to Petten will be required; the main office location is in Petten.
- VGB-B security screening is required.

- At least 8 years of demonstrable experience implementing cybersecurity within critical infrastructure
- Experience in a highly regulated environment - At least 5 years of experience as an architect within the nuclear sector
- Fluent in English
- The proposed candidate is employed by the bidder. (due to the nature of the role, self employed is not allowed)

- Work experience as OT Cybersecurity Architect - At least 8 years of demonstrable experience implementing cybersecurity within critical infrastructure. Evaluation will be based on the information in the CV
- Experience in highly regulated environment - Does the candidate have experience in major capital projects/highly regulated environment (e.g. nuclear, infrastructure, or industrial projects) and experience applying IEC 62443 in OT/industrial environments. Evaluation will be based on the information in the CV
- Does the candidate hold any TOGAF and ArchiMate certification, or at least 8 years of demonstrable equivalent experience in enterprise/system architecture. Evaluation will be based on the information in the CV
