Senior UX Designer — Data & Analytics
Role overview
As a senior UX Designer you will create great user experiences for employees working with internal Data, Analytics and IT services. Your primary focus is shaping and improving an internal onboarding portal for data & analytics services: structuring information architecture, defining clear navigation and flows aligned with business processes, and designing and validating UX for key user journeys. You will collaborate with stakeholders, other designers and researchers to ensure scalable, consistent interaction patterns and reusable components across the IT landscape.
Key responsibilities
- Design and validate UX for complex user journeys related to data & analytics onboarding and tooling.
- Improve and structure the portal’s information architecture, navigation and flows.
- Align interaction patterns and reusable components with other designers to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Lead the design process and work closely with product owners, developers, tribe/area leads and other experts.
- Collaborate within the Agency team and the broader Enterprise UX/design community to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Required experience & skills
- Experience: 5–10 years as a UX Designer with proven experience managing complex design projects.
- Thinking: Strategic and analytical; able to translate complex problems into simple, intuitive solutions.
- Complex journeys: Comfortable working on and simplifying complex user journeys within a data & IT landscape.
- Stakeholder management: Able to navigate a large organisation and secure support for ideas and concepts.
- Tools & methods: Fluent with design and prototyping tools such as Figma; familiar with service design methods and creative facilitation.
- Mindset: User‑centered approach in technology‑driven environments; able to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills; Dutch proficiency is a strong advantage.
Practical information
- Workload: Minimum 32 hours per week, preference for 36 hours per week.
- Work mode: Hybrid — typically 1–2 days per week on site, in consultation with the team and stakeholders.
- Employment type: ZZP (self‑employed) not allowed.
- Pre‑employment: Employment is subject to successful completion of a pre‑employment screening.
- Identification: Candidates must be in possession of a valid passport or ID.
